Viltrox has extended its Luna range of 10x zoom cine lenses, with the new 42-420mm T5.6 model, which will cost about €10,000, and can cover a 60mm frame, making it suitable for high-end film making.
Shipping later this year, it matches the existing 30-300mm T4.0 lens. Both are PL mount and have striking white-coloured bodies.
According to Frank Fang, Overseas Marketing Manager, Viltrox, the lenses offer steady parfocal zooming “so the focus doesn’t change when you zoom”. They also have a consistent focus plane, adjustable back focus, minimal distortion and breathing, and ergonomic design, with a built-in handle.
They lenses have built-in filter systems and matching focus and zoom angles, for consistent use.
