Firstlight Media is set to highlight the “what” and “why” of personalisation as part of an IBC SHOWCASE session.
The session, which will take place 10 September at 15:00 GMT will look at why in the increasingly crowded OTT field offering differentiating personalised experiences is becoming more and more important.
IBC SHOWCASE, the virtual event that will take place 8-11 September at ibc.org, will feature tech leaders discussing key industry topics during sessions spanning four days.
This session will include discussion of the current state of personalisation and how it is being used by consumers, as well as market intelligence on what the video provider community is seeking.
The session will focus on new personalisation paradigms that harness richer sets of metadata to marry personalisation against any number of defined or customized use cases that enhance content discovery and drive user engagement. Speakers include Firstlight founders CEO André Christensen and CTO Juan Martin.
